The 8th Annual 24 Hours of Daytona TV Broadcast Party

Invite-Only Race Event Benefits American Cancer Society

On January 28, 2017 Porsche Silver Spring hosted their eighth annual 24 Hours of Daytona TV Broadcast Party in celebration of the 54th running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway. The invite-only event was a great success with premium audio and visual displays of the race with complimentary food and beverage. Generous attendees also helped Porsche Silver Spring to raise awareness and collect charitable donations for the American Cancer Society.

The Rolex 24 marked the debut of Porsche's new GT LeMans Class contender, the 911 RSR, Porsche Motorsport's first mid-engine 911 since the legendary 1998 LeMans winning GT1. After 624 laps at Daytona International Speedway, Porsche customer team Alegra Motorsports came within just 3 seconds shy of a first place finish.
