New Porsche Cayenne Platinum Editions Announced

Porsche has announced its latest limited-edition models: the Cayenne and Cayenne S E-Hybrid Platinum Edition variants. These special editions enhance the already attractive Porsche crossover with a sport-focused design and additional features for comfort and convenience.

The exterior changes are immediately apparent, starting with larger 20-inch RS Spyder design wheels in wider wheel arches and a high gloss black exterior trim package. Solid black and white paint finishes come standard, but there's also an optional assortment of metallic paints to choose from.

The upgraded interior features a similar level of sophistication. The Platinum Edition models get leather eight-way electrically adjustable sport seats with Alcantara® center panels and head rests featuring the Porsche crest. Illuminated "Platinum Edition" lettering adorns the stainless steel door sills.

Featuring the next generation of Porsche in-car connectivity

Both Platinum Editions will come with the latest version of the manufacturer's Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system featuring navigation and the Connect Plus module, offering access to an array of useful online services including real-time traffic, Google Earth, Google Street View, and more. This system is integrated with a stellar BOSE® Surround Sound system.

The plug-in Cayenne S E-Hybrid Platinum Edition also gets a very useful auxiliary cabin conditioning feature. This programmable feature will allow the vehicle to pre-condition the cabin with the heater or air-conditioner before the driver enters.
