Porsche Announces New 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series

If you asked the team at Porsche Silver Spring to choose their favorite Porsche model, it's likely you'd get a variety of answers. That being said, there's a place in the heart of every Porsche enthusiast for the 911 Turbo S. So as you can imagine, we're quite excited about the news that Porsche has announced the details of its newest 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series.
Here's what we know about it so far.
It's the most powerful Turbo S ever
Thanks to a 3.8-liter, six-cylinder biturbo flat engine, the Turbo S Exclusive Series boasts a 27-horsepower increase over its predecessor, bringing its total horsepower to 607 hp, and with Sport Chrono, it can deliver an impressive 0-60 mph time of 2.8 seconds, not to mention a top speed of +200 mph. When it comes to 911 Turbo S models, the Exclusive Series really cannot be beaten.
Its name is very appropriate
As one might expect from a Porsche with "Exclusive Series" in its name, this model won't exactly be a dime a dozen. Representing the new “Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur” brand—the automaker's in-house workshop which specializes in custom modifications—the new Exclusive Series will be released in a limited production run of only 500 models with drivers able to select from a variety of exquisite exterior colors, including the exclusive Golden Yellow Metallic (pictured above).
Additionally, those that purchase the new model will also have the opportunity, for the first time in Porsche Design history, to have a matching chronograph configured in the same design as their vehicle. Also limited to just 500 models, the chronograph will bear a carbon dial to match the vehicle's carbon weave stripes and will be finished in the same paint used on the 911's exterior.
