Porsche InnoDrive including Adaptive Cruise Control
When you own a Porsche, you don't want to think about anything—you just want to drive. Thanks to Porsche InnoDrive, you can. The safety system expands on many innovative assistance technologies, providing drivers with a high-definition navigation map that includes topographical features; the system also determines speed limit changes, thanks to information supplied by radar and cameras, while Adaptive Cruise Control takes care of some of the boring parts of your drive, leaving the fun for you.

Lane Change Assist

An available option, Lange Change Assist uses radar sensors to monitor the areas to the rear of the vehicle and blind spots on either side. Above 9 mph, the system will provide a visual warning in the door mirror panel when a vehicle rapidly approaches from the rear or is located in the car's blind spot. (While the system improves comfort and safety, it does not actively intervene to take control of the vehicle.)

Night View
Night view provides drivers with information far beyond what their headlights detect. An infrared camera is capable of detecting pedestrians and large wildlife even before they're illuminated by the headlights. Then, a thermal image in the instrument cluster warns the driver. Depending on the distance, the image will appear in yellow or red and provide an audible alert if the object is within a critical range.
