Porsche Silver Spring hosted our second 2022 Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge Event in our store on Saturday, 7/30 from 9am to 11am, showcasing the grand reveal of our restoration vehicle, the 968. Guests enjoyed complimentary food and refreshments from local food truck Holy Crepes, while mingling with our staff and fellow Porsche enthusiasts to see the final product of our 968 and check out additional Porsche models on display. We were happy to also partner with two local animal rescues – Pets With Disabilities and Forever Changed Animal Rescue. We created stickers that paid homage to the 1994 Dauer Porsche 962 that won LeMans overall. With a donation of ten dollars or more, guests received a sticker; we were able to collect over $2,000 in donations for these non-profit organizations. Plus, one of the dogs who attended our event was adopted!
